See the second farthest galaxy ever discovered in new NASA image
The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) has discovered two new galaxies within the Pandora's Cluster, one of which is now the second-farthest galaxy seen by human eyes.
The newly discovered galaxy, Z-13, was estimated to have emitted light when the universe was about 330 million years old, and it traveled for about 13.4 billion light years to reach the JWST.
The discovery of these galaxies provides valuable insights into the early universe and the formation and growth of galaxies during that time. [ more ]
